Sophia Lee (TX L.AC, #AC02107)

I am a compassionate acupuncturist dedicated to natural healing and holistic wellness. Growing up in Taiwan surrounded by my family’s Chinese herbal pharmacies, I developed a deep appreciation for traditional medicine.

After earning my Physical Therapy license in 2017, I discovered the powerful intersection of movement and healing, which eventually led me to Austin in 2019 to pursue acupuncture.I graduated from Texas Health and Science University and became a licensed acupuncturist in 2022.

My background in PT enriches my acupuncture practice, especially in pain management. I integrate techniques like cupping, e-stimulation, and posture correction to provide comprehensive care.

I also specialize in women’s health—treating PMS, PCOS, and infertility with acupuncture, herbs, and moxibustion. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where patients feel heard and empowered on their path to wellness.

He also modified ancient Chinese navel therapy to incorporate herbal formulas and Qi exercises to treat visceral-related diseases, especially female gynecological problems and male sexual dysfunction. He loves to share with people how to “prevent from illness” by harmonizing our minds, spirits and bodies.

Dr. Eric Chen has been studying and practicing Qi-gong since he was a kid about 10 years old. As a child, his digestive system was very bad. He also had terrible abdominal pain and gastric ulcers. His parents took him everywhere to see the doctors, but nothing worked. However, when he started practicing Qi-Gong exercise, his stomach ulcer gradually disappeared and his digestive system recovered very well. It was a miracle and unbelievable. To this day, he never had stomach pain again. Dr. Eric Chen will definitely let you how to breathe properly and professionally when you meet with him.
